Tying shoes one handed – Donna Crawford
You first take the laces of the shoes with the hand, left or right. (left for me).Pull straight up tight and hard.

Criss cross the laces.

Take a shoe lace (only one) and put it down on the ground and hold it with your other foot, then using your hand pull the other lace under the first lace and pull it tight

Then take one of the laces and make a loop. To make the loop stay in place, tuck the lace into your shoe leaving the loop.

Take the other lace in your hand and take it wide around the first loop. And if you remember tying your shoes with two hands, when you make the second loop around the first then you need to make the same lace fit back through to finalize your tie. It will be a little loose at first but then you maneuver the best way you can to tighten the tie.

Pull very hard and voila!!!! You just tied your shoes.
